For the traditional American method, we are currently registered at Robinson's
/ May. Gift certificates, especially Home Depot, would be terrific for down the
road dreams.
To keep the Virtual Wedding Theme going, we are also be registered on-line
at: The
Wedding Channel
For traditional Chinese gifts, Red Envelopes are always welcomed :)

Links provided go to the hotel chain's home page,
where available. You should visit here to apply for their "VIP" card
programs, sometimes you can get free upgrades or mileage points with them. Then book
your stay through Travel Web because they usually
have better deals than the hotels websites.

Ted's Rating |

Marriott Located Downtown. Centrally
located to China Town and Freeways. Has its own movie theater. Formally known as the
Sheraton Grande Hotel, it is an excellent hotel. |

 |
Hyatt Regency: Located Downtown in the
Macy's Shopping Plaza. |

$$ to $$$ |
 |
The
Bonaventure: Really groovy hotel seen in many movies. Has elevated bridges
to other buildings and shopping areas. Lots of amenities. |

 |
New
Otani Hotel: PRICEY ! ! ! A favorite of the Japanese businessman. Be
prepared to have your knickers fluffed. |

$$$$$ to ludicrous |
 |
The Biltmore: Very
"Regal". If you stay here, you get to tell everyone that you stayed here. |

Cities to consider |
These cities are closer than most
and are relatively safe. Pasadena, Eagle Rock, Glendale |
 |
|
Cities not to stay in |
Staying in the following areas would
be a bad choice due to distance: Anything south of Downtown L.A., Hollywood,
Beverly Hills, Century City, Universal City, L.A. Airport, Orange County, Ventura County |

Ocean Star Seafood: 145 N. Atlantic Blvd., #201 (in the
Mar Center), Monterey Park, CA Tel: 626-308-2128
Dining will be family style and seating will assigned. We will be
having a host beer (hopefully Alpine Village
Lager) and wine from Ted's Napa collection. Soft drinks and tea will be provided
with the meals. The restaurant has a full bar that will be available to our guests
who would rather have a mixed drink.
