Wedding Wrap-up
We had approximately 300 guests at our wedding. The weather was a
little warm, but the church and restaurant A/C took care of this with no
problems. Our farthest guests came from Japan, while the majority
were family and friends from right here in Southern California. We
planned everything so that there would not be a whole lot of driving, and
most importantly - no down time between the ceremony and the reception.
The worst thing you can do to your guests is to have, say an 11am wedding
and a 4pm reception. What are they supposed to do, all dressed up
and 30 miles+ from home when the reception is 5 hours away? Make it
easy on them, but give yourself some breather time. We had just
enough time for pictures, as well as a stop at McDonald's because we knew
we would not get a chance to eat very much at the reception!
Update
Well, it's been a while now and the dust has settled. With
everything that was going on, the last time I updated this page was about 2
weeks before the wedding. Now, almost 3 years later, I'm making the much
anticipated updates. I'll tell you this, weddings are hard work and they
take a lot out of you!
Unfortunately, I lost some content and my web page theme when I
transferred the site to my new PC and upgraded to FP2000. We also lost our
entire guest book with almost 1,000 entries for some unknown reason.
That's what you get for using a free service like ToolZone!
The good news is that another upgrade to FP2002 has brought back
a lot of my themes and content. Navigation may be kooky, but we will get
the kinks out, I promise! Email us if you have a specific question.
